Lumennarcissism

Forgot to put this on the website even though I look pretty hot in it.

It’s a lumen print from a digital negative of a digital photo shot by a wonderful analog friend.

In other words – I converted a photo to negative, printed that on a transparency, and then put that on top of normal black-and-white photographic paper (Ilford MGRC in this case). Then hold a strong lamp above it and that’s what will come up after 5 minutes or so. The colors depend on the paper – Ilford MGRC has this nice yellow-to-purple range, but some other papers only turn blue.

It all fades pretty quickly though – I scanned this one immediately after making it.
