And I was thinking about why I like this one, not being a great fan of all the other ones. And maybe, I thought, maybe it’s because we basically got rid of one nation state. Should have gotten rid of all the other ones too while they were at it, but what do I know. It’s also somewhat comforting to know that the country I was born in doesn’t exist anymore. For all the shit happening in the world, you can’t blame *my* country.
Also it’s nice to come together to hate on borders, as a general concept. Maybe one day we’ll also hate those where neither side speaks German very well.
