With a 1950s 17.5 mm Mycro III A. The google keyword is “HIT-type camera” for these.
I’m slowly getting better at preparing the film for this little thing (it’s paper-backed 17.5 mm rollfilm, not exactly something one can just buy). Unfortunately my Mycro is slowly getting worse at being a camera. The back lock broke off so now I kinda have to tape it closed.
Sadly everyone agrees that these cameras are very cute to look at and so the prices are a bit stupid. I got mine for like 20 € which is already a bit steep for what you get. But they are absolutely, objectively, not worth the 100+ € some try to sell them for. And then people probably don’t even use them. Like, they’re not decoration! These are actual cameras. They work. They have the right to be used to make bad pictures of your neighborhood and nude body, as any camera does. I’ll write the full manifesto later.
All of these are at maximum aperture (f5.6) and at varying speeds between 1/20s and 1/100s (which are all 1/60s in reality – I didn’t say it’s a *good* camera). And on Adox HR-50 film that I forgot in the developer for 3 hours. Worked out fine though.
