the abuse of video cameras to take still pictures will continue until morale improves, or until i get bored of it.
It’s all a bit inconsistent because the camera had auto exposure on and it seems to change color rendering once it warms up. Also, the chip i use for capturing does some automatic level control stuff, and it’s anyone’s guess how exactly that works. Also the picture tube is at least 40 years old. Also it’s probably not a good idea to run all this in a damp bathroom. It didn’t catch fire this time though, so all is well.
