Cyanotype contact print (25x25cm) from an inkjet printed enlargement of a 6×6 medium format negative. Still working on a practical UV enlarger, so I don’t have the stupid computer in the workflow anymore. But this is nice too. It’s on Boesner “aquarelle 300” paper which works alright, but doesn’t hold up during washing quite as well as 100otton paper. Otoh it’s also not as stupidly expensive.
I have done this properly this time, i.e. with an actual exposure test beforehand. Cyanotypes are kinda difficult to judge by eye because they lose a lot of color during the first wash. Also this is without any curve correction applied to the negative, because I won’t have that luxury with an optical enlarger anyway.
Shot with an 1932 Rolleiflex “Old Standard“.
