coffee kitsch

okay the end result looks like something one would use as a background for a “live laugh love” poster but a big part of the fun is to use the old 9×12 camera in the street. There is a street there in the background, it’s just not visible because of the combination of physics and a f4.5 13.5 cm lens.

This is a scan (sort of) of the negative (1950s Agfa Isopan). The areas at the top and bottom is where it was attached to the backing paper – this comes from a film-pack, which has individual sheets attached to paper.

I haven’t used that camera for a while but that was actually a lot of fun, and less hassle than I remembered it being. The film-pack helps a little bit (vs. individual sheets) but I think I’ll soon take it out again with modern sheet film. And then I’ll maybe even try to take some *good* photos with it – though generally speaking that remains optional.
