November 2021

(picture by @reliographie) One thing I learned during the last few apocalypses is that apparently, no matter what’s going on, you still gotta show up at work. I don’t know what I expected dot jpeg but somehow – not that. That makes it kinda fun that most social media is categorized into “safe for ultra-religious…

mistakes

1 – underexposed and underdeveloped cross-processed Ektachrome 100. The tip here is to always change all variables (film, development time + temperature) at the same time, so you never really know what happens why. Or something. The tip might be to not do that. 2 – same as above but with the additional point of…

Rolleiflex “Old Standard”, on Fomapan 100, home-developed, scanned negative This is slightly sharpened digitally but then again the real negative is much higher resolution than what Instagram can show anyway. I got a new scanner to go with the medium format film and it’s all a bit absurd if you think about it in digital…

I live in prenzlauer berg, Rolleiflex edition.

I live in prenzlauer berg, Rolleiflex edition. So I got my new Rolleiflex “Old Standard” back together, which is somewhat surprising. Even more surprising is that it works as well as it does. The assembly date on the mirror (2nd pic) puts it at 89 years old, turning 90 in October. So that’s pretty neat.…
