Second one is an accidental double exposure but it has better over-all exposure so uhm just ignore the second castle in the middle? Or don’t, I’m not the cops.
In my defense, it was dark. At night. I know, chance in a million. And my Rolleiflex doesn’t have double-exposure prevention. Which is cool unless you’ve been outside for very long and bored and want to go to bed and then make …happy little accidents.
First one exposure time ~15 minutes, second one was ~25 minutes, plus three minutes for the castle in the middle until I realized I didn’t wind on the film. All on Rollei Ortho 25 film, because ISO 25 is uhm great for night photography. All at f3.8 because such is the lens. All my decisions make a lot of sense. Tripod model: big rock. Available in all good big rock stores.
I’ll have to go back anyway, because I think maybe 40 minutes would have looked even better. The analog workflow does have its flaws sometimes. It’s just convenient that none of the fault lies with me.
