18×24 tree

it’s even in focus, surprisingly! i can’t see anything on my ground glass (which is home-made, and also actually plexiglass) in anything less than super bright sunlight. i think i’ll have to try and put a bit more work into that. but this worked out regardless.

18×24 cm paper negative (Ilford MGRC + the Ilford 00 contrast filter), shot with a ~1870s tailboard camera, and a Goerz Series III Doppel-Anastigmat 240 mm. I think this was like 15 seconds, wide-open at what Goerz used to call aperture 4.5 (which is f6.8 or thereabouts). Digitally reversed. I gotta make contact prints one day.
