They’re upside down because that is more interesting.
Also digital because that is more easier. With a full-spectrum converted Olympus OM-D Who Gives A Fuck Mark II, but without any filters and converted to black and white so you can’t really tell a difference to a non-hacked camera.
If I knew what I was doing before I was doing it, I would have put some sort of reflector on the ground – so that in the pictures the light would come more from the top. It still works as is I think but there could be more “sort of abstract body parts that don’t make much sense” (what the artist intended[tm]) and less “upside down image” (no, wrong, look again). If that makes any sense at all. It does to me ◡̈
