this isn’t the world’s best photo (that would’ve been a surprise) but on technical terms I see no major issues, which is a lot to say for a combination of 1880s camera and film holders, 1890s lens, and modern paper negatives.
I need more(and better) film holders, and I also want to try a couple of better lenses that I have lying around here but in general this piece of solid-mahagoni furniture works and makes pictures 🙂
18×24 cm german field camera, with a Rodenstock Bistigmat, at f51 (yes, it has a weird range of apertures), on Ilford MGRC paper, with the 00 grade filter held before the lens. About 20s IIRC, at ISO ~1.5. Negative inverted digitally
